About Us

Pana DeGooyer is the creator and owner of Good Sport Fitness LLC and its fitness program tailored for children aged seven through eleven – Kids Living Fit™. Her goal is to teach children all aspects of fitness and thereby help them develop healthy habits. Good Sport Fitness trains communities to stay fit together with Flexible Strength, Boot Camps and Pure Energy classes.

Pana is a nationally certified trainer who started training in 1993 with companies like Peoples Karch International and Mid Atlantic Corporate Health that manage government gyms. She founded Good Sport Fitness in 1998 as a sole proprietorship and ran a private training gym out of the Waterfront Marriott in Annapolis. She developed community-walking programs and kids sport training programs, as well as created and led all of the fitness classes out of G.E. Medical in Crownsville.

For thirteen years Pana dreamt of developing an after school program for children that would teach them different aspects of the fitness industry. It was not until she moved to Virginia with her husband and two kids that she made it a reality and formed Good Sport Fitness LLC.

Pana started the Kids Living Fit, program in the spring of 2005 with great success and acknowledgement from publications like The Washington Post and The Loudoun County Schools Web page. In the winter of 2005, Kids Living Fit and Inova Hospital ran a twelve-week study program at four schools in Loudoun County implementing fitness and lifestyle changes in children with a body mass index of >85 th percentile.

In Spring 2007 Kids Living Fit was selected for Inova Hospital's Best Practice Award for creating a healthier community. Kids Living Fit will continue to run before and after school programs at many Loudoun and Fairfax County Schools and hopes to partner with other county school systems in Virginia and other states.
